NOTES:
3. The best.
4. So excited.
5. This guy is super weird and great.
8. My brother's band is super 90's influenced and I guess they listen to a lot of this sort of stuff.
9. So hot.
10. When I got back from this mission, I listend to this song A LOT. I was very angsty. The lyrics are just like one's I would have loved in high school. Anyway. This is a nice cover. But the video is awful. Don't watch it.
11. wow I need to listen to more Joanna Newsom.
12. My mom bought tickets for us to see Vampire Weekend at Red Butte this summer. Isn't that adorable? She really likes them. Good thing cause I've been needing an excuse to wear my neon pink pants, sperry topsiders, and lacoste shirt. HAIM will be opening for them, so that will by great.
thanks for the mix! I have been picking CDs up from the library based on intrigue or the album art. Joanna Newsom's "Have One On Me" is the most recent winner. Never really got into her stuff until now. My favorite tracks are "On A Good Day" and "In California. " Most of them are quite good, though. It shocked me.
ReplyDeleteI have the same library technique. That's how I discovered some of my favorite albums. I'll have to check out that Joanna Newsom album, I really only know Ys.
DeleteI legit do not know any of these songs...
ReplyDeleteLinds! A lot of them are new. Also, I would love to hear your opinion of Joanna Newsom. Particularly this song of hers: http://youtu.be/OOxAneYR4bw (feminist themes!)
DeleteHope you'll be here for the summer!
